Re: Sky go app says need to upgrade subscription 25 Sep 2020 08:05 PM My sky q app worked fine then I got a message saying to go back to sky go as the q app was ending but every time I try to watch anything at all (and I have the full package) it says I need to subscribe. If subscriber SKY account with an auto-renew HBO Go subscription becomes temporarily disconnected, subscriber will be automatically opted-out from the HBO Go service. SKY reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time at its discretion without prior notice.
This is the official TV website for Manchester United. Our content is far-reaching from award-winning documentaries and player interviews, to the manager's weekly press conference and first team match commentary and analysis. You can also see live Reserve and Academy matches and full replays of all first team games. With studios at Old Trafford and the Aon Training Complex plus daily news bulletins, MUTV gets the fans closer to the club.
This is now through the main Sky Go app that also works with Sky+, rather than a dedicated Sky Q app as before. There are plenty of 4K films to watch if you have a Sky Cinema subscription as.
What streaming quality can I expect?
The quality of the stream is optimised and dynamically updates depending on your internet connection. You can also adjust the quality manually if required.
When are programmes shown?
There is a live stream of the MUTV channel, which broadcasts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Users can view the upcoming programming schedule to make sure they never miss their favourite shows.
In addition to the live stream, users can also access a wide range of on-demand videos within which is regularly updated with the latest MUTV programming.
What programmes can I watch?
Fans with a subscription will gain full access to exclusive club content, including:
- Live commentary of every United match in the Premier League, Champions League and domestic cup competitions.
- Pre and post-match analysis of each game by United legends and exclusive interviews with the manager and players.
- Award-winning films, documentaries and original programming.
- Live coverage of The Manager's Press Conferences.
- Live broadcasts of over 50 live Reserve and Academy fixtures every season.
- Exclusive access and features with the new Manchester United Women's Team.
- Full replays of classic United matches.
- An extensive catalogue of on-demand categories, including Matchday, Kicking Off, Legends Tonight, UTD Podcasts, MUTV Originals , MU Women, Inside United and more.
Can I watch live games?
MUTV will show pre-season Tour games live and has live radio commentary of every Manchester United first team game across all competitions - Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and European fixtures. On top of this, live Reserves and Academy matches will be shown throughout the season.
Unfortunately, due to global programming rights restrictions MUTV cannot broadcast live matches from certain competitions, but you can watch the full 90 minutes of most first team fixtures within 24 hours of the final whistle (time of availability may vary slightly, due to discrepancies in broadcast rights across different territories).
How much does a subscription cost?
The prices available at the time will be shown to you when you attempt to subscribe.
You will need to create an account and choose your payment method.
Your subscription will be charged on a monthly, bi-annual or annual basis depending on the package you select.
What payment options are available?
Subscriptions can be purchased using PayPal, MasterCard and Visa cards.
Can I update my payment details?
If you have an active subscription via mutv.manutd.com, go to:
My settings > Manage Subscriptions
If you do not have an active subscription, you can use PayPal or create a new account with your new card details.
I have an additional 10p charge pending, what is this for?
This is a pre auth shadow payment that will disappear and will not be charged. It is used to check your account.
Does my MUTV Digital subscription give me access to the MUTV television channel via a television service provider?
No. You are subscribing to the MUTV online service and it does not include access to the MUTV television channel via a television service provider.
Can I watch on my TV using a streaming device or digital media player?
MUTV is available on Amazon Fire, AppleTV, Xbox One and Roku in selected markets only.
Once you have created an account and subscribed on mutv.com, you can Log In on your Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Xbox One or Roku device with your registered MUTV Digital Email and Password.
Also, when using a Chrome Browser on Android or desktop. You can cast MUTV to any Chromecast connected TV. Your device and the Chromecast TV will need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.

How do I unsubscribe?
If you subscribed to MUTV via mutv.manutd.com:
Go to My settings > Manage Subscriptions
From there you can manage your subscription.
I am an existing MUTV subscriber on Sky TV in the UK. Can I access MUTV Digital online?
Yes. Existing MUTV subscribers on the Sky TV platform will be able to access MUTV Digital for free online. Simply register your 9 digit viewing card number here.
If you are a new MUTV subscriber on Sky, please allow up to 14 days before activating your pass.
To access MUTV Digital you will need to subscribe at the price currently available to you.
Can I access MUTV Digital with my www.manutd.com account details?
Yes. You can now use your www.manutd.com account details to access MUTV Digital.
You now only need one set of details to access the Official App, manutd.com and all the MUTV products.
If you only had an MUTV Digital account, you can now use these account details to login to www.manutd.com /Official App.
If you only had a www.manutd.com and Official App account, you can now use these account details to login to MUTV Digital products.
If you had both a www.manutd.com/Official App and MUTV Digital account you must now use your www.manutd.com /Official App account details to access all products.
Can I login with a Social account when using MUTV on my Fire TV, Xbox, Roku or Apple TV device?
If you signed up using a Social account such as Facebook, Google or Apple and want to access MUTV on your Fire TV, Xbox, Roku or Apple TV device, you’ll need to set a password. You can do this by visiting mutv.manutd.com/set-password and following the steps provided.
Can I access MUTV Digital on more than one device?
Yes, but you can only watch on one device at a time. If you start watching on another device, you will be prompted with a pop up message and the playback on your current device will be stopped.

Sky Bundles – how does it work?
